19-23 April 2004 in Rio de Janeiro , Brazil , will take place the World Summit on Media for children and adolescents. The Media center already participated in the preliminary stage of the Summit and will participate in the main one.
The Radio Manifesto will be presented on the Summit introducing children to professional FM-stations. This Radio Manifesto program consists of the main principles which will make Radio appropriate for and available to children. A lot of NGOs from all over the world participated in the creation of it. The year started – we presented new comics on HIV/AIDS prevention for kids 9-12 years.
A lot of adults do not believe, that it was created by children :( Yes, it was hard to work on the comics, but it was fun. We hope, it helps to some kind and the will find the answers on their question: “What is HIV/AIDS” |

20 November is the Day when the Convention of the UN about children's rights was declared!
It's our day and we'll take part in its celebration. For sure, from the very beginning of the day we will be on the air on TV screens and radio shows. |
